UPDATE 2: More paper Zelda models from Aaron! This time it’s the King of Red Lions. And Aaron also built Josh Darrah’s Great Sea Base! (picture)
UPDATE 3: Aaron promised me he’d send some new pictures, and here they are! The first one is a rebuild of young Link that he did earlier. I guess he just wanted to make it *perfect* (and now he also repainted the sheeth to make it look like the blade of the sword! ;o)
UPDATE 4: The second one is Fierce Deity Link. You can see another Fierce Deity Link in super deformed style in the picture, it’s a repaint of ChokiPETA’s Four Swords Link and can be downloaded from here.
UPDATE 5: The final one in this batch is my newest model, Zora armor Link. I’m very glad to see that most people find it relatively easy to build, and the results like this one are usually great as well! ;o)
UPDATE 6: Two new models by Aaron Mears! The first one is princess Zelda, and the second one is wolf Link, the one you can see in the picture above. Aaron has been working on them off and on all during summer break, and a month into school. So that’s how many Zelda models already? Well, you can see in this groupshot!
Aaron sends me a few pictures of the young Link papercraft model he built. The small treasure chest he’s trying to open in this picture, can be found here (but it’s probably just another Small Key again, that you can only use in this dungeon… ;o)
Aaron also built the Clock Town Schnauzer model from my website. When Link is transformed into a Deku Scrub, it growls at you and attacks you, but after Link is transformed back to normal, the both of them get along just fine, as you can see in this picture.
The last picture shows that when Link is not playing with dogs, he likes to play King Arthur and pull swords out of stones. If you want to try yourself, you can download the template for the Master Sword and pedestal here.
UPDATE: I guess Aaron forgot to mention he also built my Epona & Link models! ;o) You can see them here, together with young Link and another Link from a different papercraft creator (which you can download here). If I remember correctly, it was made with Tenkai, the predecessor of Pepakura Designer.
And that concludes the random trivia lesson for today. ;o)
Thank you for building these Ninjatoes’ papercraft models!
With a brother like Aaron Mears, it’s not hard to imagine how Zach also got hooked on papercraft! ;o)
This time, he’s sending in his own build: no, that’s not some random dog that walked in front of the camera when Zach was trying to take a picture of the car; that’s Zach’s Clocktown Schnauzer!
Although the picture is a bit blurry, you can still see he did a pretty good job! And from the sounds of it, Zach is only just getting started… ;o)
Thank you for downloading and building a Ninjatoes’ papercraft model!
It was hard to choose which picture I would swap for Lauren’s earlier update, which was Zora armor Link, because it was such a good build…!
Fortunately, the new pictures are just as good! ;o) As you can see in the picture above, Lauren couldn’t find a suited transparant sheet to make the helmet visor for Lara’s Extreme Depth Suit, but the opaque versions looks pretty neat as well!
And Lauren must be a Simpsons fan as well, because look who we have here! ;o) And something totally different, but a great build nonetheless: she also made my new Final Fantasy Moomba doll!
So those were the new pictures Lauren sent me, but the first ones she sent me, were of her Ganondorf model, and it was very good one!
She told me she had a lot of fun building him, but I also think you can also tell by the quality of the build! ;o)
It’ll probably come as no surprise to you that Lauren is pretty creative: if you have time you should check out her Deviantart gallery with lots of nice computer paintings including several from the Legend of Zelda!
I think we got Lauren pretty well hooked on papercraft now, because so shortly after Ganondorf, she also made Epona & Link (see the picture here) in just 2 days, and she’s already planning the next one! ;o)
Update: Lauren revealed to me that Ganondorf and Epona & Link weren’t the first models she made: she also did Fierce Deity Link, young princess Zelda, young Link and Majora’s Mask, Midna and wolf Link, and (surprise! ;o) a non-Zelda model as well, namely, Lara Croft.
Update 2: another non-Zelda model from Lauren, it’s my newest Cloud model. She glued on the legs last so she could work out a good balance, and although she says the hair and fingers gave her some troubles, you wouldn’t say so from just the picture I think, anyway. ;o)
Update 3: I only just uploaded my newest Zora armor Link model two days ago, and Lauren already sent me some new pictures of her completed ZaL! And I know what you’re thingking, but it doesn’t look rushed at all! picture 2 | picture 3
It’s just a another great build!
Thank you for building these Ninjatoes’ papercraft models!
Aya from the Philippines tells me she has become addicted to watching/reading One Piece, and building papercraft models…
And now she has combined her addictions!
Aya made this “Going Merry” within a week, but she has also done some other ones which you can see in her DeviantArt gallery: solitary-Aya

If you’re thinking: “that Moomba doll looks a bit small…?” then you’re right, because it is! Uzay resized it to just under 9 cm tall (originally it’s about 20 cm tall). The tiny papcercraft Nintendo DS Lite by Sonicscape Jun proves it! ;o)
Besides Lulu’s Moomba doll, Uzay200 has already built lots and lots of my models, like this NES Zapper for instance; don’t let the “holes” in the wall fool you though, because although my paper NES Zapper is life sized and the trigger moves, it doesn’t really shoot anything (just like the real thing! ;o)
And here’s another nice build by Uzay2000, by the way: Zora armor Link (and the Sword of the Phoenix in the background).
But wait there’s more, much more! ;o) Take for instance this Homer Simpson, built in just two days!
Earlier, Uzay2000 made Final Fantasy X Auron, and also what I think is probably my hardest papercraft model to date: Super Smash Bros. Melee adult Link!
It was a difficult model to build, Uzay2000 said, so it took him about a week to finish; which is actually pretty fast! (but he didn’t build the sword arm until a month later ;o)
I think Uzay2000 is a bit of a Zelda fan, because he also built young Link and Fierce Deity Link from Majora’s Mask. Young Link took him almost a week to complete, and for Fierce Deity Link, he split up the work building the legs on the first day, the body the second day, and the head and sword on the third day.
But Uzay2000 doesn’t only build Zelda models; of course he built Auron, but he also built Cloud, from my Kingdom Hearts version!
You must really like papercraft to build all these models, or be a really big Zelda/Final Fantasy fan!
Or both. ;o)
Thank you for building these Ninjatoes’ papercraft models!
