One Piece “Going Merry” by The Webdude

11-09-2005: The Webdude from Tenessee, USA has built this scaled up version of the “Going Merry”! Why did he scale it up, you ask? Well, he is planning to make a neat island base for it with a few other One Piece paper models which I can’t wait to see!

In the meantime, be sure to check out his own papercraft website, The Webdude’s Free Papercraft, and don’t forget to take a look at the other pictures: picture 2 | picture 3.

Thank you for building a Ninjatoes’ papercraft model!

  1. Hi! How do I scale up this model? :)

    • Once you have downloaded the parts (and instructions of course ;o) you have to unzip the Jpeg files inside (chances are you already have an unzipping tool installed on your computer, but if you don’t, you can find many free ones online like 7-Zip for instance).

If you have acces to a large format printer (or have it done at a copyshop for example) you can then let the printer scale them automatically when you print them on A3 paper instead of A4 (or even bigger paper of course).

Alternatively, you can scale the Jpeg files in an image editing software (like Gimp for example, if you don’t already have one installed on your computer) but please note that some of the parts won’t fit on a single A4 size sheet of paper if you make them bigger, so you will have to break them up and glue them together later on again!

I hope this helps, good luck and have fun building!
