since when does the megatank have visible drivers?
The Megatanks have visible drivers in the battle animation and in the info sheets, even the Black Hole ones, even though Black Hole doesn’t use Megatanks much (at all?) during the campaign, because it’s a Green Earth technology I guess.
The Megatanks of the four Allied Nations pretty much all look the same (like regular tank drivers with helmets) except for the colours. Here’s a screenshot of an Orange Star Megatank of Andy: link
To see what a Black Hole Megatank looks like, you can buy a Black Hole CO in the Battlemaps from Hachi, and then use them in the Versus maps.
Here I bought Flak, and when you use him, his units will have the Black Hole look (but in this case, because he’s playing for Orange Star, his units are orange/red): link
As you can see, the Megatank looks pretty much the same, only the drivers look different (kind of like a soup can with a visor I guess). And then it’s just a matter of changing the colour to the regular Black Hole grey. ;o)
sorry, I never played AWDS. only AW1 and 2, but I saw that image in the AW wikia. weird.

I guess Wikis don’t tell you everything. ;o) If you liked AW1 and AW2, AWDS is lots of fun too; it has basically the same game mechanics that work so great, and it has several new units and of course the Dual Strike CO change during battle that can turn the tide of the battle if used right. If you ever buy a NDS or 3DS (or already have one?) it’s definitely a good game to buy with it. ;o)
